Thank you Lord, for Trials

When trials upon me, are thrust        

I’ll take time to say, “Thank you Lord.

Thank you, for extending your trust.               

Thanks for Your faith in me, restored.”

Too often, I’ve been substandard           

I’ve failed at each obligation               

To Satan’s lies I have pandered        

I’ve yielded to sin's temptation.

I have confessed, I’m absolved!

And now He has blessed me with trials -

Problems that need to be solved.

I am feeling my Savior’s smiles.            

Trials provide possibilities

To prove my faith is real.

Grueling responsibilities,

Are a chance to prove my true zeal.

Each trial’s an opportunity,                  

God’s mighty champion to be.              

To be to my community,
